Church Service
To close the wonderful year of 2009, we celebrated it by giving thanks to God for all of the blessing. It was around the Christmas time and New Year time. Some nice little church service before the long holiday ^^
Giving thanks showed our feeling to God, it’s a nice deep way to express our happiness for the wonderful year.
Competition
Almost my class won on every single competition except the decorating noodle competition. We won on the poem contest, and so on!
The function from these competitions is to help us in coordinating each other and also improving our skills. Our school is pretty often holding a kind of this competition. It’s good in helping the students to be more relax and draw near to other students, as well.

Uwaaaahh, every time, I enjoy the fresh nature right beside my class. I already feel the nice sense since the first time I joined this school. I feel the peace just by seeing it. Here is the picture that I took on December 16, 2009. (LOL,  6 months gap since my first time entering school . I was just too lazy to take the picture but on December finally I decided to eternalize the beautiful scenery :))

Kampung Laut is a name of a restaurant just across our school. I think it is big and nice! ^ ^
The nice moment we shared by eating and talking about religion was a program planned by our religion teacher. The purpose was to make us can share happiness in new situation (outside the school) and also had a nice time eating XP , but of course still exploring further the  knowledge of religion.
That time, there was the Lomba Cerdas Cermat Alkitab (Bible Competition) and I was one of the chosen to participate in our class’s team. Want to know the result? We got the first! Yay^^ I was so happy, even though I don’t think I really help my team much, but I’m so happy of winning the competition. :P
The main thing here is that we can have a nice new relaxing area once in a time for relax, but we must still keep on our main focus. In my case was the learning process of religion.

Gourmet? What do you know about Gourmet?
It is one lovely place to fulfill your wish of food and kitchen property *slap, stop doing promotion here!*
Uhh, okay, let just start the story.
Our lovely class, X-1 was enjoying our time on Gourmet House. We learnt how to make the Gelato ice cream, Blue Banana Smoothie, and Lasagna. I love to cook with friends. And the food that we made also tasted really good. Yummy^^
Gourmet House cooking class helps us to practice to make our foods and drinks at home by firstly learning from Gourmet. We can experienced the step by step in making something and beside the there are a lot of professional chefs to help us.
This was is a great way to help us learn to cook.

Bible Quote

Filipi 1:21-24

1:21. Karena bagiku hidup adalah Kristus dan mati adalah keuntungan.
1:22 Tetapi jika aku harus hidup di dunia ini, itu berarti bagiku bekerja memberi buah. Jadi mana yang harus kupilih, aku tidak tahu.
1:23 Aku didesak dari dua pihak: aku ingin pergi dan diam bersama-sama dengan Kristus--itu memang jauh lebih baik;
1:24 tetapi lebih perlu untuk tinggal di dunia ini karena kamu.

Claudia the tallest; I am the 3rd one from the left
She was our last year native teacher, but I don’t think she really taught much though.
Though what she taught were still in my mind. She was teaching about the beauty of her country, we can exchange culture and learn their culture better. This kind of opportunity is definitely a great one. But our farewell party must be started and so well, sayonara Claudia^^

Edu fair October 2009

This Education Fair is basically for helping us to gather the information about universities. It wasn’t only for the 12th grade only, but the 10th and 11th also got the chance to get the information. I was on the 10th grade and I searched information about universities, mostly with my classmate Thea^^
On this education fair, the participants are some from abroad, which is good. (at least for me) *giggle*

Batik 2/10/2009
Indonesia has a lot of problems to claim our own culture. Malaysia usually claims lots of our cultures.
However, in this bright nice day exactly on the October 2, 2009,

Indonesia claims Batik as Indonesia’s culture. We must be proud with our culture and help in preserving our culture.
On my school, we celebrated the event by using batik dress and also following lots of competition. For instance, the batik design contest, the fashion show contest, making items from batik contest, and so on. (See the picture)

Tourist Hunting

On The Bus~

Tired, sleeping in a row!

Another tired girl on my shoulder

My lovely class & the bus XP

One of the tourist hunted!

Inside the school bus

Jogja around 3/9/2009 (forgot the exact date)
In the picture, I am the one in red jumper. My class went to Jogja for tourist hunting. We must searched for the tourist and interviewed them. However, some tourists are busy and they ignored us or maybe answered in an angry voice. Though, it was completely fun since we also ate lunch at the Malioboro mall and have window shopping there=)
The function of tourist hunting is basically to improve our English, learn to be brave to talk, and also improve our technique in taking pictures, recording things, and stuff.
Let’s go for another hunting!^^

It was a usual independence day, I think. We definitely always have the ceremony and some competitions, such as the moving the eels from one basket to another (whaa, disgusting one), tarik tambang ( tug of war) , etc.

We always celebrate Independence Day to remember the hard works of our hero that freed us from colonization. We must always keep this freedom!
Some examples we can do right now are: paying the taxes, not harming any public facilities, actively participate in national politic.

MOS July 2009

The MOS (Masa Orientasi Siswa) is like a kind of trial before we join the school to prepare our mental.
In our school, it is about a week of trial.
On the MOS 2009, we have to use bag made from wheat sack and the detail must be completely similar with the instruction given. We also have to prepare the foodstuff and also with detailed condition; for example: the shape of the fruit must be round, the rice must be green, and so on. The instruction was always different each day. For girls, we must tied our hair and it was up to 10 pigtails ties on our hair. Aww, it was hurting and also took lots of time to make it.
But the worst one for me was the time when our senior angry at us. Each day, about 1-2 hours, our senior read all of our mistakes and punished us. I was almost cried that time.
----------------
Simply I believe with the quote: And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.--Jerry Chin
It means that we must face problems before seeing the real beauty after it.
After those days of trial, the last day on the night was the best moment ever. It’s called inauguration night. We presented our talent show, watched the video of the MOS, the senior also said sorry for everything, and one best moment was the fireworks and tears of happiness!
I really love that time <3
However, I heard that one of our senior was possessed by evil spirit on that night. It was scary.
