I have been a bit sad because my summer plan hasn't really work out.

I do not plan to go back to Indo, thus I need to do something useful over this Summer break Dec-Feb :)

My summer plan:
Plan A:
Summer Research Scholarship
-not approved this year :( (I was really looking forward to do this-I even paid $30 for the application academic record )3-|

Plan B:
being a UPass leader (group tutoring) for next March semester
- missed the registration session and need to wait till next July. :(

Plan C:
International Management Field Trip (Singapore and Malaysia)
- not interested much of the destination 3-|

Plan D:
Interested in Japan educational trip
- need to check the required criteria

Plan E:
going to take short course such as diploma of management
- It'll be great if I can get cheaper course but I need to make sure its credited toward my degree :)

Plan F:
Looking for better related job.
-(There is no reply yet as of my previous Priceline pharmacy job application)8-|

Plan G:
try to fulfil most of ISLA (International Student Leadership and Ambassador) contract of 100 hours volunteer 2014

Glad that if your plan A doesn't work, the alphabet still have 25 more letters!! A-Z нeнe.

I trust God that despite it hasn't been clear of what I can do this summer, He definitely plan the best for me\=D/

I am not worried because even He cares so much that He knows the hair that falls from my head; even more for my Summer plan! Oh, how I love my Father :3

Luke 12:6-7, 22-23, 25, 32-33
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.
And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
“Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.

New year UPDATE:
Plan D fail: need PR
Plan E: not credited

All fails!! I did my best, I gave up, but I trust that you won't give up on me.

Proclamation of faith:
The best is yet to come!

Singing!

Unbelievable! I've just realised it!

This is the story:
My singing is not perfect but I've been investing my life on it since I was kindergarten. I've been in church choir, taking courses, even till in Sydney. I've received constructive appraisal from my family, my teacher, my choir. No way that I'm so bad at it!

This is the second time someone reject my singing (completely). I don't mind if its partially (eg. you have talent but you can improve on this or that). But this one...
It hurts...
My first response: cry!!!
My second response: I want to fight back, eg. who are you to judge me? Is your singing ability way all so good that you can say that to me?

After some thought, I'm questioning why I'm so sensitive on this matter.
I am the one who decide my response, of course I should reflect and appreciate other's feedback but I shouldn't be overly depressed by it. We must be wise to decide which word we should hear or not for our improvement. The fact is their words are not proven to be true yet, why it hurts so much personally ???

Because it was my pride ! My self! Me. Rejecting that makes me feel rejected.
And I've realised it now. How sad!

God, I'm sorry that I took pride too much on all the efforts I did to improve the talent You gave. The glory is Yours, the giver, not mine. Let me be humble. Thanks for pointing this sin out :)

R11 Endurance

God who is faithful to carry out the good work He has begun in you - Phil1:6

If God has brought you to it, He will bring you through it- Cherrie

12 Seek God
Seeking God is not only a quest for the lost, but is also to characterise the life of the found. Seeking God means that in all you do, you keep His honor in your mind, His Word in your heart, and His glory as your goal- so you are seeking to actually know Him and make Him known.

23-25 Listen to others, speak to others, you can't make it alone! 3 title in a sentence

Hebrew 3.
12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 14 We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end."

Just today I got a rebuke from being boastful by my sister in law. I didn't feel that way and tried to defend 'me'. Despite what really matters is what's the impact to others already!
Then I read note to self: listen to others. Often I want God's wisdom privately ( Scripture or praying), but one of the main ways are through others.
"... Answers to be found in the counsel of friends"- Proberb 24:6
Additionally another benefit: I am protected from the hardening influences of sin too :3

I've also been questioning about my too much KM community. Feeling like I should go out but I read these 3 parts that explain the importance of church as a community! Hence I decided to stay for now.

You are proud- strike through as I was facing it myself , let humility win over me :)
Even Jesus is humble, I will follow His life principles

John 17:1-3
17 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:

“Father, the hour has come.Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
