The Importance of Sabbath

Relating to my previous diary,

my first tutor student discontinued.
--Been thinking about it and relating it with Sabbath.--
My brother also commented why choose on Sunday?

My reason back then was because it is my first experience to be tutor so I can be more flexible; it's only 1 hour anyway.
Regardless, it still makes difference. I've been nervous and thinking about it especially on the day; which mean that my body may be at church but not my mind! This is simply dishonour to God's holy day!

Why then He prepares manna double for the preparation of Sabbath?
It means that God will take care of you ( your need, your income) even on the day that you don't work and committed for Him.
After all, He is the source of everything!

Exodus 20:8-11 ESV

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

Just a side note: sabbath was originally Saturday. While Sunday was originally the day of sun worship.
Regardless, Saturday in one place is differ and can be Sunday in another place. The main point I get is give God one holy day of intimacy. :)
Dont forget that the rest 6 days are still for God's glory.
